Participants will need to bring their own bikes and helmets as well as food and water for the ride. Parents are encouraged to ride with their children. Activities include basic bike safety, trail rides for all ages, prizes and a BBQ. Ride will be broken into the following categories according to skill level:

Group 1: Skills area within La Presa group area. This will be for our youngest riders who want to ride the course within the group area.

Group 2: Ride around Craig Regional Park consisting of concrete path to playground. Along with the skills area, this group can ride along the path to the playground across from the lake (suitable for training wheels, strollers, and balance bikes.

Group 3: Loop over dam to proposed bike park area and back to La Presa. For the kids who want to develop additional skills by riding over teeter totters or other objects this is the group for them, after playing on the features they can ride up and over to the site where the bike park is planned. The hillside allows for practice on climbing and descending and then back to the group area.

Group 4: Ride out of park to Fullerton Loop bike trail. Traditionally the “Big Kids” ride, this group will head out of the park to explore the infamous Fullerton Loop trail. This group will be riding on city streets and in traffic so previous experience is required to join.
